Mrs. Jennifer Garcia is the proud principal of Olmito Elementary School, bringing 18 years of experience with LFCISD. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a Master's degree in Educational Administration.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Garcia has served as a classroom teacher, lead teacher, and Instructional Officer, gaining a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students, teachers, and parents. Her collaborative approach has consistently led to improved academic outcomes and a positive school environment.
As principal, Mrs. Garcia is dedicated to providing a high-quality education and fostering a safe, nurturing atmosphere where students can thrive. Her strong leadership skills, commitment to educational excellence, and vision for continuous improvement position her to lead Olmito Elementary School toward continued success.
Myrlanda Arizpe serves the students at Olmito Elementary as Instructional Officer. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2021. During her career in public education that began in 2015, she has served as a 4th grade teacher, 5th grade teacher and Instructional Officer. Mrs. Arizpe received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Brownsville in 2014 and her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Principal Certificate from Lamar University in 2018.
